Reading Options
This is the help file for Reading Options under Setting menu.
To use this feature, choose Setting, then Reading Options from the drop down to show as below.
Most of these options are checkboxes used to tokenize text, to read text aloud and to export text to audio. They are self-explainary as each label implied.
While reading aloud in progress, any one of them can be checked or unchecked as needed.
Top section
Read Bible Verse - To read bible verse by chapter and verses.
Read syllable by syllable - Read as indicated instead of reading the whole sentence.
Spell unknown word in English - During tokenizing and reading aloud, these words will be spelled in English.
Spell upper case word - All upper case letters will be read as implied.
Intensify words section
Repeated: Txom-txomNyem, ntau2 & ntau7 - Add intonation.
Eding with question mark: Koj yog leej twg? - Add intonation to RPA words ending with question marks.
Echo On/Off - Toggle Echo.
Stutter On/Off - Toggle stutter.
Suppress section
Forward slash (/) character - Suppress this character due to use as comment.
Inappropriate words - Exclude inappropriate words from supplied list.
Single non-alphanumeric character - Exclude some stand alone Unicode character.
Skip blank line- So not to pause too long for multiple blank lines.
Word(s) between curly brackets{xyz} - Skip reading as implied.
Word(s) between parenthese (xyz) - Skip reading as implied.
Word(s) between square brackets [xyz] - Skip reading as implied.
Check Ticker checkbox to use its parameters below. While reading aloud, it is the window showing to the left side of the main document.
Click Background color to select its color.
Click Foreground color to select its color.
Enter a number between the range for Opacity (0-255): 125
Enter Font size (min 12, max: 100): 20
Click OK button to use these options.
