Table

The Table feature displays and processes text in rows and columns, similar to a spreadsheet. It is especially useful when working with multiple dialects such as English, Dawb, and Leeg.

To open the table window, choose Table from the main menu, as shown below.

Dialect Usage in Document

The following example shows text written in multiple dialects inside a document (not in a table). The inline command <Dialect:> determines how each line is read aloud.

<Dialect:> is an inline command that sets the reading dialect for the text that follows. Supported dialect commands include:

Dialect Usage in Table

When text is placed inside a table, the software automatically uses the column headers (English, Dawb, Leeg) to determine the reading dialect.

The following table shows the same content from the Dialect Usage in Document section, but organized into columns.

The table window contains the following sections:

Title Bar — Displays the name of the table.
Menu Bar — File, Edit, Insert, Note, Setting, Tool.
Toolbar — Quick-access controls for reading, searching, filtering, and editing.
Table Area — Rows and columns containing text data.

Title Bar

The topmost bar showing the name of the currently opened table.

Menu Bar

The menu bar provides access to operations such as creating, opening, editing, and processing tables.

File Menu

The File menu manages table files.

New — Create a new table.
Import — Import a table from an external file.
Open — Open an existing table.
Save As — Save the current table under a new name.
Print — Print the table contents.
Exit (F4) — Close the table window (prompts to save if needed).

Insert Menu

To use this feature, click Insert from the menu.
Be sure to click a cell first to give it focus; otherwise, the insert option will not take effect.

Audio — Insert an audio file.
Picture — Insert an image.
Symbol — Insert a symbol.
Video — Insert a video file.
Voice — Insert recorded voice audio.

Tool Menu

The Tool menu provides table-specific utilities.

Add Column — Insert a new column into the table.
Change Headers — Rename column headers.
Remove Duplicates — Cleans your entire table by removing repeated rows, including rows that may not be visible in the current view. A row is considered a duplicate when all column values match another row exactly.
Transliterate — Convert text between dialects based on column headers such as Dawb, Leeg, and Shib (if available).

More Options

It is the button with three stacking dots.
Click it to show its Floating Picture menu with checkboxes as shown below.

Button Arrows

Up arrow — Go to the top row.
Down arrow — Go to the last row.

Toolbar

The toolbar provides quick access to commonly used actions:

Read — Read the selected row or the entire table.
Stop — Stop reading.
Read Cell — Read only the selected cell.
Read Row — Read the selected row.
Sort — Sort rows by clicking a column header.
Select All — Select all rows.
Select None — Deselect all rows.
Find — Search text within a selected column. This is different from Filter.
Filter — Dynamically filter rows as you type, based on the option selected in the dropdown.
Replace — Replace text in selected rows of the active column.
