Translate

This page describes the Translate feature under the Tool menu.

The Translate window contains two text panes: One for Hmong/Mong and one for English. Text entered in one pane can be translated into the other.

Translation is currently provided through an external online service. Because of this, translation accuracy may vary.

Hmong/Mong to English

• Enter text into the Hmong/Mong pane.
• Translate – Submits the text for translation. The result is shown automatically in the English pane.
• Read – Reads the Hmong/Mong text aloud.
• Copy – Copies the text to the clipboard for use elsewhere.
• Help – Displays help information in Hmong/Mong.

English to Hmong/Mong

• Enter text into the English pane.
• Translate – Submits the text for translation. The result is shown automatically in the Hmong/Mong pane.
• Read – Reads the English text aloud.
• Copy – Copies the text to the clipboard for use elsewhere.
• Help – Displays help.
